I have access to a couple different multimillion dollar studios that are both located in Dallas, Texas as well as my home studio where I have recorded most of the songs I have worked on.
The first studio is Maximedia Studios which is one of Dallas’s best studios with one of the best drum rooms in the area. They have a room featuring a 72 channel SSL console with loads of outboard gear as well as another studio with a 54 channel API console also with lots of outboard gear. I also have access to a studio that belongs to a friend and fellow engineer in Deep Ellum, Dallas. He has a bunch of high quality gear and a great room for tracking in. There is unlimited time there and nothing to stop you from getting the best work recorded. I highly recommend this studio because of the freedom of time combined with quality of gear.
And then I have my home studio where I have recorded almost everything I have produced, including everything of Cameron Mitchell’s. Nothing special other than that I know the room very well and exactly how to make it sound great. Again, unlimited amount of time and easy access to all of my instruments and microphones (listed on the gear info page).
