questions & answers

How did you become a photographer?

In 2008, my family and I went on a vacation to Red River, New Mexico, where there was no internet or phone service. I grabbed my moms Nikon D80 at the time and ran off into the woods taking photos of anything that I could find. I wouldn't take it off manual until I had learned how to make the photos look right on the back of the screen. One of the afternoons we were there, I hiked up the side of a mountain and got within 25 yards of some big horn sheep to take some photos. After that, I was officially hooked. Since then, I have done landscapes, concerts, engagements, portraits, parties, weddings, etc.

Will you travel?

ABSOLUTELY. I love getting to travel and do what I love. I'll travel anywhere in the world! So if you're not from Texas, or are from Texas and are getting married somewhere else, I'd love to join.

can i bring outfit changes?

Short answer, yes! I recommend bringing one or two outfit changes, max. Each outfit change takes up precious time of day. Beacuse I am a natural light photographer, light is the most important piece of equipment that I have at my disposal. The better the light, the better the photos you will get.
